Intelligent Target Practice
This project showcases an advanced bot designed to seek cover when players direct their gaze towards it, significantly increasing the challenge for players to detect and engage them.
Developed collaboratively by myself and three classmates over three weeks, we utilized Unity to bring our concept to life.
My contributions centered on constructing the behavior tree's framework and devising the bot's logic. A key feature I developed was the cover detection system. This system enables the bot to analyze obstacles within the level and identify map areas offering protection from players' line of sight.
